Fair enough, I do see where you’re coming from. That said if you hover over Sunderland city centre on it and search ‘pub’ you get a shitload of places pop up and it gives their name, then within a click you can scroll through photos, see what reviews they have got and so on. Same for any other type of thing or attraction. Just not sure what the demand for a specific city one would be for people maybe only visiting for a short time. It would also be how do you even make people aware of it as well, suppose that could be done by having signs with a QR code on spread all over sensible places and selling what it does could work and be easy enough for people.
Brexit means BrexitHow much will a EL campaign bring into the city coffers
Look north often rambled on about the economic impact of European football on Newcastle and of course the wider region and the good PR it develops
Seen nowt about same impact on Sunderland
Will nexus be planning metro maintenance on EL nights?
Keep me posted ill buy one to gan on the fridgeI might just make an old fashioned PDF map on one side with numbers in different colours and a key on the other side.
I really think that Google maps doesn't do justice to how nice our city is laid out.
A walk from Roker to sheepfolds along the river then over the new footbridge into keel square and the town is absolutely fantastic, the beach ,marina , riverside walk etc..
You can't pick that up from Google maps..
Sunderland council need to get on it and get the place made easy for visitors
Free to you mate .Brexit means Brexit
Keep me posted ill buy one to gan on the fridge
Send them back on the first fishing boat out in the morning. Those ferkin loons on Reform council will probably instruct police to detain away supporters on arrival.
Mate, it's a good idea but most of the games here the weather will be shite and no away fan is arsed about that.I might just make an old fashioned PDF map on one side with numbers in different colours and a key on the other side.

I’m sure our Reform council will be doing everything possible to make sure foreigners are welcome in our city.
Something like this?Aye it does but I don't think it particularly stands out on Google maps just how many pubs and restaurants there are , and exactly where the metro stations are and the beach etc...
You'd have to specifically search for each one
We need a tourist friendly one that highlights keel square , park lane, sheepfolds, Roker beach etc... so people can easily see the main areas , then pins for all of the bars and restaurants etc... it would really show how concentrated things are
You'd better believe it.How much will a EL campaign bring into the city coffers

Price a Newcastle hotel on match days. I needed to book one recently for a private event but changed the event date when I saw the hotel pricesHotels in Sunderland absolutely fleece customers on our match days like.

Doesn't work very well mind.
Will our European rivals be arriving by boat?
As a lifelong exile who gets to Lads games whenever I can.. I live between the Emirates and the old Highbury Stadium and every pub, restaurant, offie, sandwich shop or takeaway would fold without their relatively recent European element of match day trade.... Amplify what footy related represents by 30% in my point of view ..the future is brightextra games = greater intake for pubs.. maybe some extra traffic for hotels, shops, restaurants etc. Taxis, Uber.. it can only be good. Hopefully big attendances/sell-outs and it’ll be like a play-off home leg vibe at least four extra times for the city and of course thousands of units sold for Hays Travel for aways, with taxis shuttling back and forward to airport.. problies have a spike in shirt sales etc.
