El Blanfardo is the hub of Sunderland's café culture. Can imagine the Blandford would see a huge upturn in fortunes
Closed sadly.Tramcar is getting a new lick of paint.
Like the Hotel California, you can check in anytime you like but can never leave!Did alright for the man united game. Some poor souls found themselves in there for the afternoon![]()
I always find myself searching for stuff on Google. For the record, I agree. Google is pretty ad hoc
Fair enough, I do see where you’re coming from. That said if you hover over Sunderland city centre on it and search ‘pub’ you get a shitload of places pop up and it gives their name, then within a click you can scroll through photos, see what reviews they have got and so on. Same for any other type of thing or attraction. Just not sure what the demand for a specific city one would be for people maybe only visiting for a short time. It would also be how do you even make people aware of it as well, suppose that could be done by having signs with a QR code on spread all over sensible places and selling what it does could work and be easy enough for people.Aye it does but I don't think it particularly stands out on Google maps just how many pubs and restaurants there are , and exactly where the metro stations are and the beach etc...
You'd have to specifically search for each one
We need a tourist friendly one that highlights keel square , park lane, sheepfolds, Roker beach etc... so people can easily see the main areas , then pins for all of the bars and restaurants etc... it would really show how concentrated things are
I'm using the off season to fine hone my technique.plastic chair throwing in park lane is a must
Everyone will stay in Newcastle and use their airport.
Holidaying in Tenerife?I'm using the off season to fine hone my technique.
Sunderland is run by Reform now mate. They f***ing hate foreigners and Europe.......Touched on this on Monday. Hoping that the council push tourism and promote Sunderland as a city and make it inviting for foreign guests
Hotel offers for 2 night stays for a start
4 extra games which will sell out could be massive for the city in restaurants and bars
In-laws BBQ, Cork.Holidaying in Tenerife?
Away fans will be radicalised against Sunderland by the time they turn upEveryone will stay in Newcastle and use their airport.
Railys closed unfortunately. But I'm sure oddies well fingered buffet will have them flocking in.El Blanfardo is the hub of Sunderland's café culture.
Pleasant evenings, sat al fresco, enjoying the view along Boulevard de Blandford, perhaps a light snack on the table to share, as the sun goes down behind the empty Debenhams building. How bohemian!
For those who prefer a more entertainment based evening the joys of karaokeon Park Lane provide a delightful opportunity to engage with local inhabitants and soak up the cultural and social activities enjoyed there in.
For the real party animals no trip would be complete without a round of drinks at The ToyShop!! Situated at the bottom of the fashionable Holmesidestraße, and close to rail and u-bahn links, this exciting and vibrant wateringhole is renowned for its friendly welcome for all, happy go lucky attitude and local characters with a yarn to share.
Guided trips to more exotic and adventurous outposts, such as Hogans, Angel's Place and Railway Tavern, can be arranged through your tour company for those who love to strike out from the well tread path.
Maybe anybody coming into Shields by Ferry will be escorted back from whence they came by the Royal Navy, or confined to a tented camp in Shotton.Away fans will be radicalised against Sunderland by the time they turn up
How many hotel & b&b rooms do we have in the city and seaburn? Hilton, Holiday Inn, premier inn, roker hotel etc plus all the guest houses
You mean the Reform-led council?Touched on this on Monday. Hoping that the council push tourism and promote Sunderland as a city and make it inviting for foreign guests
