SOL expansion

We have to plan for the future, you know the next time we have a double relegation. We don't want rival fans laughing at us because we have a huge stadium.
I've said countless times its got nothing to do with other fans' opinions on anything, the ground is about the right size currently given the increased demand and the way the team are playing

Not a chance there’s 15k genuine people on the waiting list like
Im not on it and im genuinely interested in a ST if i retire up there. At the prices being talked about though they can stick their list up my hairy hole. Ill simply learn how to watch em dodgily.
Think he means if a family of 4 have all signed up for the waiting list and registered for 4 season tickets 4 times it looks like 16 on the list but in reality its 4 so the numbers probably dont corrolate with the actual physical people.
I’m a SAFC member at the three different addresses I’ve lived at since I was a ST holder in the SOLS early days despite telling the tkt office a good dozen times since moving the last time. I wouldn’t believe SAFC if they told me it was raining.

The club needs to grow for sustainable financial growth. The expansion of the SoL will be factored into this. I expect that they are already looking at preliminary design briefs for expansion
Of course they will have, Burwell more or less has said that. Mind you with the east stand extended it'll look bizarre.... be class to see a mock up of it though...

Anyone know how the ticket revenue works in the Europa? Do the home clubs have to give a percentage share?
With the play offs it all went into a pot. With the fa cup I think it’s a percentage goes to the away team but I’m not sure on Europa.

That's exactly it I wanted 2 tickets but I signed up for 2 and my wife signed up for 2 so 4 in total on the list but I only want 2 there'll be thousands done the same

Anytime your in the market for some magic beans give me a PM marra.
So let me get this straight. The club have sat down and said we have 300 season tickets free, what the best approach to getting them considering we have a waiting list?

You think the strategy is to make sure people know they are scarce so people will still want one, as opposed to selling them asap and getting the cash in the door?

Demonstrably not, given people cannot get tickets on demand.

I mean it couldn't be more obvious

I’d agree. Most games this season had countless empty seats despite being ‘sold out’

That said it’s probably worth extending the south stand 1. To stop development encroaching on it and 2. If nothing else to get more corporate space and improve the concourses etc

With respect we could probably have this argument til the end of time. My point is that whilst we might have higher demand than supply this season, we'd need more evidence of longer term demand to make it financially viable for the owners to put huge amounts of money into an extension

You mean like sitting on the sofa looking furtive and twitching a bit? 🤣

You'll never get that evidence, we had 10 years in the prem, then got relegated twice.

Good business owners take calculated risks. Waiting for a guarantee that we'll always be good isn't going to happen
