Can we win the Europa League?

The forest fans reckon the quality is absolutely crap for the most part

we went to watch Az Alkmaar a couple of years ago, i think they were 2nd in the dutch league at the time and it was terrible

Pot 1 looks stronger next season.

For last season these were the pots (Forest got to the semis from Pot 3 and could have got to the final if they had avoided VIlla)

This is the predicted pots for next season. Personally, last 8 would be a huge achievement but we should be targeting the last 16 as a minimum.

If you look at the run villa had:

Group stage:

Bologna (H)
Feyenoord (A)
Go Ahead Eagles (A)
Meccabi Tel Aviv (H)
Young Boys (H)
Basel (A)
Fenerbache (A)
RB Salzburg (H)

L16: Lille

QF: Bologna

SF: Nott'm Forest

F: Freiburg

They didn't have to beat anyone who you'd say was a traditional big hitter in european football.

Our biggest challenge will be managing the workload. No reason why we can't get to QF though, and anything can happen once it's knockout football

That’s because they are very much used to it. We are not. Almost every team will be a tough ask. None of them you’d say will be a good chance of 3 points.

Just happy to be in it…
Never thought I’d see it in my life time…
Knockout rounds would be decent and a few scalps along the way….

Big historical names, but average now. Out of all of them Benfica (undefeated in league & made CL knock outs, but are losing mourinho) and Bournemouth worry me the most.
Aren't Benfica appointing Marco Silva to replace Mourinho?

If so, they'll be serious contenders.

Bournemouth are the English Monaco. Few of the top sides will relish a trip to their Subbuteo stadium, even if it's being expanded next season.

Let's all just enjoy the 8 guaranteed games IN EUROPE first, absolutely no expectations for me beyond that. So excited already, I've woken up giddy every morning since 😁
