Ha ha absolutely rinsed 😂

I'd have more respect if he just said Tonali and Gordon absolutely fucked their Season by being petulant toxic children wanting away and haven't performed in the league.

Combined that with Bruno being injured meant they've struggled!

Everything is "but injuries" or ,"but Eddie hew"

The one thing we can all agree on is th<t when Newcastle have a better team than us we are able to admit it. The facts remain that current.y we are the top dogs and they just can’t admit it, believe it, accept it and I’m loving it.

No reason they should ever have one again if we get the next couple of years right

They can't help themselves "you'll see it next season" what are you going to beat us 10 nil in the Derby home and away and we'll be relegated on the lowest points ever...what a load of shite..they've got massive recruitment problems and as it stands our teams stronger than theirs...bring it on
I think the horrible realisation is starting to sink in that we might be on the verge of something and they are genuinely shitting themselves.

Seriously, If the roles were reversed, I’d be fuckíng gutted looking at their set up, the recruitment, the fighting spirit etc etc thinking those bastards are doing everything right.

Onwards and upwards and FTM

If their owners pull the investment, they are in big trouble. Even if they dont, the squad isnt good enough. If they sold Gordon & Tonali, their recruitment team havent shown anything to say itll be re invested wisely. I dont think they actually realise the bother they are in as their squad depth is also very very poor. Could they be next years West Ham?
Yes!!!! Bookmark this.

I think a section of every fanbase is deluded, but the way they are firing out any excuse possible is great. They are genuinely living in a bubble.

If we were being fair, any combined 11 must have Roefs, Alderete, Mukiele, Xhaka, Le Fee and Brobbey in it. Thats 6 out of 11 spaces guaranteed. you can argue about tonali/bruno in cm ahead of xhaka due to age etc, but in terms of right now, xhaka is in that lineup. You then have shouts for reinildo v hall (do you prefer an attacking fullback or a more defensive one, granted reinildo does it all but his true strength is defensively. both teams RW is a weak point so thats a debate. Id prefer Reinildo right now, but Hall will be top class long term. We have Sadiki who would be unfortunate to miss out but the midfield 2 would have to be out of xhaka/guimares/tonali, Ballard also misses out to Thiaw.

LW would have to give it to Gordon, as much as i cant stand him, theres a reason hes sought after by top clubs and a mainstay in the England setup.

Therefore, man for man, we have to be seen as the better team.

Im sure many fans will disagree on some of the above, but i think its fair and balanced.
Thiaw

All this bollocks about playing more games means we'll be found out next season is horsesh!t as well.

As a club, Sunderland, for the past eight years, have become used to playing more than 38 games a season. Granted it was at a different level and with a (largely) different type and set of players, but they are used to managing fitness and injuries over an extended season.

There is no reason to believe that they can't manage it again next season - despite the higher levels of performance needed. That's why we bought better players and that's why we'll buy some more to help take the strain.

They're running out of straws to grasp and it's becoming more and more obvious to the wider fanbases in the EPL how deep and ridiculous their delusions are.
Excellent point, yeah we played something like 51 games last season.

Until they accept that they aren't the dogs bollocks they think they are in so many ways they'll continue to be hated and underachieve. We are Sunderland, the shithole city without an airport, the club who give season tickets away with happy meals, always in their shadow (dont believe that mind, thats just what they conditioned to believe) and we've somehow finished above them. Shouldn't happen ever in their minds. God I f***ing hate the c**ts.

They will be even weaker once Bruner and Tonali fuck off
Even if the team is now level pegging and not much in it is incredible.

What’s more worrying for them is we’re absolutely light years ahead of them on pretty much every level.

The academy, the stadium, our set up, recruitment is miles ahead of them.
Love these threads me

Despite the dislike for them up the road, he is a more than capable centre back. Decent on the ball and gets a few goals. Hes a good signing sadly
I wouldn’t have Gordon in a reserve team. He’s absolutely 💩
Hes off to one of the best teams in the world for 70m. Hes a very good player sadly

Thankfully hes leaving, and they wont be able to replace him with similar quality

It absolutely kills them. They thought they were going to be the 2nd Man City. Yet here we are after 2 transfer windows in the top division finishing 5 points above them and qualifying for Europe. It shouldn’t have ever been a level playing field again. One club is on the up and it’s not them despite Messi selling the pies and cleaning the boots
That fan chant killed their chances of signing anyone decent ever again. The arrogance and disrespect was there for all to see.

I’m already seeing this more & more in the last few days. “We’ll see next season, Sunderlands are going to struggle”.

Yet another one to add to the bingo card of “you’re going down with the worst points ever” “you’re not going to win a match” “six easy points” “you haven’t played anyone yet” “you couldn’t even score past us” “the xG league”

We could win the league next year & there’ll be some narrative as to why we’re shite & they’re class.
My favourite is when we beat them in a derby (take your pick), their response is always "2 shit teams". They are now arguing that they have been the better team for the last 10 years or "we will be better than them next season". Kind of an acknowledgment that we are currently better than them.

You can't give left wing to Gordon as its a joint SAFC/NUFC team. Barcelona players don't count ;) .

Looked like someone up to court throwing out all excuses he can think of so they would find him not guilty.
GUILTY mate and you're going down.

In the early stages of their takeover I was resigned to the fact that they were on the verge of success. Tainted success yes, but major trophies and a seat at the top table all the same.

At no stage during this period did I try to convince myself that we had a better first XI. They're not well.
