Ha ha absolutely rinsed 😂

what I love is the other lads have clearly clued themselves up so they can actually challenge him because he does genuinely just spout absolute chod
This
The lad coming back with you are an established Premier side ( he should have added who have spent 750 million ) ànd they had AFCON -Xhaka injured and came up through the play offs and are way above you was clued up

We're getting better and better. I seriously wouldn't have any of their midfielders over ours, in a mixed team next season. Maybe hall for Reinildo at LB but you can't count Gordon cos he won't be there next year. I have the feeling Bruno will want away too.

So that's ten of ours and one of theirs, but aye, they're better.

Last season we played 51 games.

This season we played 42 games.

Next season we will play a minimum of 48 games with a guarantee to progress further in the League Cup than we did last season.

Not sure what the issue they're all going on about.

They thought we were finished in L1 and with the exception of the very occasional cup game, they’d never have to see us again.

When we won promotion, they were a little annoyed but just thought we’d stink the league out and they’d get their “6 easy points”.

What actually happened this season though has hurt them greatly.

It started in the summer when their star player wanted out. All of their main transfer targets then turned them down.

To their shock we started well and quickly gained a lot of respect from the rest of the league. But of course we “hadn’t played anyone”.

They hoped December would fuck us…. It didn’t and of course we beat them just before Xmas. They then went into their usual meltdown.

To their credit, they did ok in the Champions League for a bit before getting humiliated by Barca.

A few days after their champions league exit, we turned them over again and tens of thousands of them left before the end.

The only way they could rescue their season after that was to finish ahead of us. Not only did that not happen but we also qualified for Europe.

The Saudis now want to sell 25% of the club but they are somehow trying to spin that into a positive.

Newcastle has always underperformed.

They tried buying the league in the 90s, failing to do what Blackburn, Chelsea and Man City managed easily. They then moved to a model of sustainable growth that has served the likes of Brighton and Bournemouth very well, only to blow it up because they convinced themselves that living within their means constituted some sort of "crisis". Now they're the richest club in the world, and have made a balls of that because they fancied the woman who was making an absolute balls of running their filthy rich club. Labouring under the hope that Wor Mandy might one day give them a little kiss, they instead invented an enemy called "the cartel" and blamed them for their decision to sell Elliot Anderson and buy Anthony Elanga.

The consistent factor in these three periods of abject failure isn't the owners, players or managers - it's the fans. Fans that are pathologically deluded, determined to pretend that everything about their club is The Most Important Thing In The Entire World.

Ashley, a boringly pragmatic owner, was the world's worst tyrant. Their midfield as the best in the world, with Bruno and Tonali both the best individual midfields in the world. Miley as the best young player in the world, apart from Woltermade. Trippier as the world's best LB when they signed him, Hall as the world's best RB today. Isak was the best striker in the world, before morphing into the world's purest rat. I've seem them refer to the Carabao Energy Drink Cup as "a major title". They had a bus parade for the league cup. No one else does that. I've seen more muted reactions to world cups and state funerals.

What they are is a middle-of-the-road club with decent attendances due to being a 1-club city. That's it. We're much the same, with the crucial difference that we're also a down-to-earth club that neutrals quite like. That's why we had a globally popular Netflix series, and they have gimps like this lad in his little YouTube video.

There'll never learn. This season teaches them nothing, just as their relegations taught them nothing. They are convinced that they're a successful football club despite all evidence to the contrary. And it's great. This delusion is exactly what keeps them from ever achieving anything. They'll sign a load of duds this season and they'll hail them as the best in the world. They'll beat Hull at home and it'll be the world's best performance. And so it goes.

Even if the team is now level pegging and not much in it is incredible.

What’s more worrying for them is we’re absolutely light years ahead of them on pretty much every level.

The academy, the stadium, our set up, recruitment is miles ahead of them.

The arrogance, as ever, is there for all to see.

Beaten twice, 5 places below us, we’re in Europe and they have fuck all to show for their season.

Obvious who the better team is right now. Might well change next season but it’s impossible to argue with currently.

I’m already seeing this more & more in the last few days. “We’ll see next season, Sunderlands are going to struggle”.

Yet another one to add to the bingo card of “you’re going down with the worst points ever” “you’re not going to win a match” “six easy points” “you haven’t played anyone yet” “you couldn’t even score past us” “the xG league”

We could win the league next year & there’ll be some narrative as to why we’re shite & they’re class.
Spot on. What they overlook is that we have a sporting director, with a team behind him, that are really good at what they do. They will have already planned for this outcome.

Or, we could have Jack Ross.

It absolutely kills them. They thought they were going to be the 2nd Man City. Yet here we are after 2 transfer windows in the top division finishing 5 points above them and qualifying for Europe. It shouldn’t have ever been a level playing field again. One club is on the up and it’s not them despite Messi selling the pies and cleaning the boots

They can't help themselves "you'll see it next season" what are you going to beat us 10 nil in the Derby home and away and we'll be relegated on the lowest points ever...what a load of shite..they've got massive recruitment problems and as it stands our teams stronger than theirs...bring it on

I think a section of every fanbase is deluded, but the way they are firing out any excuse possible is great. They are genuinely living in a bubble.

If we were being fair, any combined 11 must have Roefs, Alderete, Mukiele, Xhaka, Le Fee and Brobbey in it. Thats 6 out of 11 spaces guaranteed. you can argue about tonali/bruno in cm ahead of xhaka due to age etc, but in terms of right now, xhaka is in that lineup. You then have shouts for reinildo v hall (do you prefer an attacking fullback or a more defensive one, granted reinildo does it all but his true strength is defensively. both teams RW is a weak point so thats a debate. Id prefer Reinildo right now, but Hall will be top class long term. We have Sadiki who would be unfortunate to miss out but the midfield 2 would have to be out of xhaka/guimares/tonali, Ballard also misses out to Thiaw.

LW would have to give it to Gordon, as much as i cant stand him, theres a reason hes sought after by top clubs and a mainstay in the England setup.

Therefore, man for man, we have to be seen as the better team.

Im sure many fans will disagree on some of the above, but i think its fair and balanced.
I wouldn’t have Gordon in a reserve team. He’s absolutely 💩

The one thing we can all agree on is th<t when Newcastle have a better team than us we are able to admit it. The facts remain that current.y we are the top dogs and they just can’t admit it, believe it, accept it and I’m loving it.

They're a disorganised rabble of a club whilst are showing them how it should be done. They can't touch us because we've bettered them by every matrix:
Head to head, league position, Europe, national recognition, and spend per point.
It's absolutely eating them up inside. They can't even look at me in my local in Gosforth
