I'm guessing Roefs is likely to spend the tournament on the bench, given he is still uncapped, but great that he's in the squad.

Brobbey on the other hand should have more opportunity to play.

Still hope he gets the shout and Timber misses out mind. Always better if players are able to achieve personal goals whilst playing for the club. Think Nordi's injury did for him a bit too, btw. There was talk about him getting a call up in the last friendly. I think that was why he was so visibly upset. Well, that and he's a massive drama queen!

Aye, L'Equipe reported at the time that he (Nordi) would have been called up but for the injury. Very disappointing and bad timing.

It's really hard to break into a Deschamps squad but once you're in, it's even harder to get back out of it!

I was at Ajax in November with a Dutch friend (she's a model with a major agency) for the Benfica game, the atmosphere was canny poor (tifo was good). I'm not surprised Brobbey is saying we are better.

We will be even louder when we extend the stadium and finally balance the stand heights and create a proper bowl where less sound escapes.

May I be the first to say…… pics?
