Aye I know we have only qualified for Europe once this generation so don’t wanna be that guy who gets too big for his teams’ boots… however, if we are serious about wanting to be top 10 and compete for top 8 again we need to be aiming better than Summerville like.

Think Wieffer is a bit more midfield biased than Geerty. Probably more useful to them as a result. I’d probably agree tbh. For me, Geerty is 80% right back with only outright emergency cover provided for other positions. Hopefully this doesn’t negatively affect our prospects, but he is Dutch after all.

He is more midfield yes and I agree Geertruida is a defender with midfield as a back up.
With Timber and Dumfries as their RBs it's not shock he's not in. They've got a really strong defence imo

Still hope he gets the shout and Timber misses out mind. Always better if players are able to achieve personal goals whilst playing for the club. Think Nordi's injury did for him a bit too, btw. There was talk about him getting a call up in the last friendly. I think that was why he was so visibly upset. Well, that and he's a massive drama queen!
