Don’t even think being a wanker affects his rating on here. He is a Mag thus, to many, he is shite. He isn’t world class but, Kane & Rice aside (possibly Pickford) none of the England squad is.

I think it counts to a degree, there was a recent thread on Miley and most SAFC fans seemed to not mind him. Saw him as a decent lad and decent player.

I think Gordon's perceived personality does play a factor

By the way, that Jarrow Roofing-esque side side beat Benfica, Copenhagen, and Frankfurt. They also drew with Chelsea. I think, perhaps, you over-estimate just how shite they are.

Petulant in my opinion. He certainly isn’t dumb. Seen a fair few interviews where he has spoken very well.
His post Derby interview was, with hindsight, pretty ill-advised.
