Highest ever average attendance.

Really? I’d have thought they would absolutely be sell outs.
Kids can’t stay up late
They only do that in early round league Cup games etc where demand is low. If they think theyll sell, then theyll allow ST holders their seat. And at least 1 glamour side which will sell well. Then because theres 4 guaranteed games, it makes sense to offer a package for the 4
No it wouldnt

I think people underestimate just how much of our fan base travel from outlying areas and further afield.Thursday nights as well isn’t going to make it easy for some🤷‍♂️
Aye.
Back in the sols early days we had the highest % of ST holders living more than 100 miles from their clubs stadium.
There’s more televised games now. Thursday games also mean there’ll be only a handful of Saturday 3pm KOs

Really, we have been starved of success since 1973. I am sure there will be sellouts in the Europa League.
Can someone explain the format please? I'd rather hear it from a human rather than Google. RAWA pressing for sensible pricing please @Becs (and a ban on strippers).

As a parent I think it would be unfair to deny my kids the chance to experience what could be a once in a lifetime chance to see European games.
I only wish me da had felt the same for the Vasas match in 73. He blamed the club for putting the prices up. If anyone thinks the current regime won’t do the same then they’ve been living under a rock for the last year or so.

It doesn't make sense to sell 4 as a block? No ones paying £50 to see carrierbag on a Thursday night. If they do a block ticket (other clubs do, do this) then theyll have a decent crowd.

Not being able to afford the tickets is a different argument than “kids can’t stay up”. The club need to get the balance right on pricing. We obviously need to make sure we sell out.
I wouldn’t hold it against anyone not going if it was financially irresponsible for their situation. I would love to be able to go to every away game in Europe, but I know that there is no chance of affording it, so I will have to make a choice.

At the Sol yes not Roker we average owa 60k for few seasons
Which seasons
I think late 40’s into 50’s we had around 40-47k as averages.
Some games 50/60k some games 20k

Maybe for the bigger clubs we could play….
But someone like Derry City?

Even the mags / Liverpool had poor gates for early European cup games at times.
Got talking to someone yesterday who was looking for the attendance figure and couldn't find it. It's been bugging me ever since because nowhere seems to have it.
We always seem to be slow with releasing this.

Do they count use an abacus to validate the numbers?
