Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

In all my years ( too many to mention) never heard of pubs selling out of beer that they have to close

Seems mad

Unless another reason of course
Giving the staff a well earned rest then. Just because you haven"t heard of it, it doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

It could be that they thought the custom wasn't going to be enough to make it worthwhile for them to open

Just your standard club mate really. Go in and you’re into a corridor, bar room is on the left a few paces up. Smallish square room with tables and the bar is straight ahead slightly to the right from the door. Round of about 6 pints came to £24 so not as cheap as I was expecting, Cooper Rose is generally sub £20 for the same.
I assumed it would be around the £3 mark for a pint but more like £4

Street bar was heaving tonight for the match. Took ages to get served.
Each to their own (and maybe they were spurs fans who knows) but weird over the top celebrations for PSG winning.
