Disney world Florida

3rd day today, yesterday got on hagrids twice within 20 mins each at 7pm, mental that. Been to epic tonight after volcano bay in morning, little one did yoshis ride was class with her being buzzing, met peach and Mario and Luigi. Frankenstein manor is abit shite, Harry Potter at IOA miles better.

Got on stardust racers at 8:45pm. Wow, what a f***ing coaster in dark, just beamed smiling at it!

Disney tomorrow, Polynesian for breakfast with stich, on the pints round the pool bar while they are asleep like atm waiting on chunks delivered.
Sounds class to me marra

Stardust was brilliant I thought, went on it a couple of times - including with use of a fast pass freebie I got because of the Harry Potter ride breaking down while I was on it! I and the rest of our group had more mixed feelings about Epic in general though, Mario Land looked great but I thought it was a letdown in terms of the stuff there.

Stardust rivals anything in Islands of Adventure imo but the park itself isn’t as good if you’re into bigger rides.

The pizza place charged me twice as well and I still never got my money back, gave up arguing and chasing in the end but it meant £30 odd was £70 odd iirc for a bit pizza and 3 drinks.

Not jelly of people there at all. Not one bit.
People hating on muppets re theme of RNRC. Some expecting a new ride. Sure most these Disney preview people are thick as fuck.

Is it open yet? I thought it was about the 26th? Are they doing unannounced preview rides?

Booked for sept/October for 18 days,a few year since we’ve been . I know you can spend what you want but what would you expect to spend not being a greedy get?

Not as much people would gan on about, about $11 for a beer in resorts, €7 in boozers, food cheap but we share as it's massive for two adults like. Spent about £2k in a week here and that's me not scrimping on nowt.

Aye 2k a week is what we planned for tbh, not planning any mad shopping sprees or out like that. I think the last time we came back the kids had suitcases full of ket and snacks and our lass did a drug store run filling her luggage with painkillers and melatonin 🤣

When used to go just with wife before kids it was $200pp per day now we’ve the 2 kids it seems 200 a day does us. It’s strange but we’re not out on piss every night etc. also have extra $1000 just in case but we’ve never broken into that yet on last 3 visits.

You can save a lot of money by taking an insulated water bottle. Just fill up at the drinks dispensers in the restaurants. Don’t use the water fountains unless you are at deaths door.
Food budget will be very dependent on where you eat. Eating in the parks or Disney hotels will cost 3-4 times what it costs to eat off-site. Even if you don’t have a car it can be worth paying for an uber to get cheaper food prices.
We usually have breakfast in the room (buy stuff at Walmart), we will share a quick service meal if we are in the parks at lunchtime, then on an evening go to places like Longhorns or Cheesecake Factory. For 2 of us it will be comfortably under $150 inc tips.
Occasionally we have a treat and eat at one of the good restaurants on site, such as Flying Fish at the Boardwalk, that will be over $200.

I've always done the Disney dining (when it's free) and that saved a fortune as it even included beer with meals etc.

During my offside weeks we tended to get food delivered from Uber Eats etc on a night as the kids were younger and didn't stay out very late.

Me dar said it was $27 for 2 beers & tip in Disney Springs like (I'm assuming its the Irish bar they always go to). Crackers.

I just don’t get it. Disney for me is not a drinking holiday. It’s not like you have gone there for the same reasons as you would go to Benidorm. That’s why I don’t mind staying offsite and driving.

I'm the same, just a few drinks now and then. No need avoid drinking, just like you say, its not the point of most days.
That said, taking a bottle of fizzy to the hotel pool on an afternoon is canny. So is drinking round the world at Epcot.

Gotta drink round the world though. Love it me. Daft strong beers while waiting to ride frozen and then frozen grey goose in France. It’s class.

Yea there are occasional things you do. The same for the all inclusive for discovery cove. Get an uber the occasional days but if I’m having a meal at Disney springs I’ll just get a soft drink.
