Leeds jealousy

Having worked down there i think its because they are ( far and away ) the biggest club in Yorkshire which also is the largest county in England. That and the fact they had one of the greatest sides in history under Revie ( who we beat btw ) and their Title win under Wilkinson.
They have that entitled thing that other successful clubs have ( and less successful ones have too eg the Mags )
😂

Revie won 6 major trophies.

Klopp won 5 in less than half the time at Liverpool.

Talk about over egging the pudding.

They still think they're better than us even though they two times we played each other we had a massively weakened team and they couldn't beat us.
Love it how they all seem to think they gifted us the points, they couldn't live with us those two games.
Sorry thought this was about the mags lol

Professional football has been around for around 140 years and of that Leeds were very good for around ten of those years!

They’re an odd bunch Leeds.

Genuinely think they’re massive because they sell lots of shirts in Ireland.

Killed them that they were the 2nd biggest club in the championship while we were down there.
Plenty of our own have similar mentality based on very very little for over 50 years
Both sets need to show a bit of humility tbh

100% this up ⬆️ I worked there for 18 months and couldn’t wait to get out. They have massive chips on their shoulders and a big city big headed attitude, couldn’t bear them.
You can draw a circle from Hull to Liverpool, Newcastle to Nottingham (inclusive) and they hate everyone inside it. I regularly have to travel to Leeds for work, and I'm often surprised at the venom towards SAFC. I do wonder how they have the stamina to despise so many.

Mind, it's largely reciprocated. Its the one thing that unites the north, no-one likes Leeds.

Mind the gappage. Has there ever been a point where they've been above us? No. They've been in a relegation battle we haven't
Fuck off tony
As a Sunderland fan of 62 I totally agree with your reasoning. I’m delighted we qualified as it’s only the 2nd time in my lifetime, the first was 1973 after we beat you in the cup, but I’m also horrified by the thought of our inevitable second season syndrome and a thin squad playing too many matches due to Europe. However. WTF is the point of life if you don’t live outside your comfort zone. I’m 62. I actually thought I wouldn’t see Sunderland in Europe again in my lifetime especially after our travails in League 1 with a squad worth tuppance. So bring it on I say and what will be will be, life’s too short.
