I’d be absolutely amazed if any pub before the match didn’t allow kids in.

A few have stopped letting them in recently, been in vault yard all season with kids and since spurs at home they’ve had signs up saying no under 18s. Heard of a couple others doing the same for some reason.

No idea, the op was asking about pre match. Somewhere like sheepfolds will be good for watching if you are not actually going. I would go into town first as it will be easier to get served, then head into Sheepfolds as everyone else is leaving to go to the game.

The Avenue Pub in Zetland Street Roker has a great pre match atmosphere , two big rooms and a beer garden .

Same with most pubs in Roker tbf.

If you want to drink outside in the sun

Sheepfolds is great if you wanna hear of a goal before you see it. The sky feed is slightly delayed.
