Cardio goes quickly, my mileage has halved in the last 4 weeks and I'm already slowing. Ran a 43:40 just before the issues started and only managed to huff and puff to a little over 45mins on Sunday, that's with race day adrenaline as well. I'm still on the fence about Hartlepool HM next Sunday tbh but I know with that I can just decide on the day.Shame that mate. Doubt you’d lose a load of fitness over four weeks but if you’re not feeling it then you’re making the right call.
Gunna see a physio after pay day, and get a month's pass to the leisure centre so I can hammer the elliptical and swim just to keep general fitness up.
