Forthcoming gigs.

They are indeed mate.

New album on the horizon as well, another one ready to go for the studio also.

Obviously going to get as many gigs in as I can before the inevitable happens.
I`ve seen them a few times over the years including a time where Ginger was his own support band. They are one of those bands that have toured a lot (Like FM, Thunder, Kris Barras etc) that I tend to skip over tours quite frequently but might catch them on the next one.

The new line up is phenomenal - wasn't surprised that Ben would slot in as well as he has, Jon is still a wonderful bassist and the addition of Charles and Carol? Superb. Charles is a serious heavy hitter on that kit.

I'm well into the 40's now seeing them. With the diagnosis though, it's getting as many good nights in as possible to now.

Iron Maiden next Saturday night in Athens.
Def Leppard, Belfast and Metallica x2 nights in Dublin, both in June.
Iron Maiden, Knebworth in July.

With regards to Def Leppard, I'm contemplating offloading my ticket after hearing some of the Vegas shows. Not good at all.

Just waiting on The Wildhearts to confirm more shows for later in the year and see where those take me.
Are Extreme supporting Def Leppard

Seen quite a few gigs in The Central and intending to go this Tuesday for an experimental line up.
Station East seems really popular pub now. Pass that way when going to the central or the sage. Can remember going in a very long time ago and it was desolate. They seem to be making a big effort with it.
Station east owned by Hadrian and border brewery
They do some good stuff

Pixies down in York tomorrow night, quite excited to finally see them for the first time. Hoping for a bit sun so we can have a few evening beers in a beer garden in town somewhere but not looking too great at the minute.

Was meant to see them on a Friday night at City Hall last year but Dan Ballard very rudely decided to score late on against Coventry and get us into the play off final the day after that gig so I was already in London by then. Can't believe that was already a year ago!

Anybody want 2 tickets for Leisure Society at the Cluny tomorrow night (Sunday)?
I was in the area on taxi duties when The Leisure Society ended. Probably about 20 people came out.

You missed the only Pixies gig I've ever been to, out of 15+, that was no good. They played a block of six (?) songs from their new album, which is awful, in the middle and it just wrecked the evening. I hope for you they've learnt their lesson.
