The mistake was getting rid of Tony Mowbray just before Xmas and New Year with the Mags Cup game looming in early Jan without having any one lined up.

Every decent candidate must have realised that with 7 games set to be played in 25 days they would be on a hiding to nothing. Beale was so hopeless he took the risk of accepting the job and the inevitable happened .

I don't hold with personal abuse towards anyone but he didn't help his case with the alleged use of a burner text account. That's a red rag to a bull in this day and age and I think that the Club was very unhappy about it.
 
He was clearly out of his depth and was onto a hiding for nothing from the second he was announced. It was a very poor and ill informed appointment by the club.

Hope he’s successful in his new venture.
 
Big Sam kept us up and relegated the Visitors in May 2015. It’s 11 years since then. The managers we have had during that period are:

I’d defy any football supporter of any club to produce a worst list [relative to the size of their club]. Le Bris is the only one that I hadn’t heard of before he was appointed, and hence the only one that didn’t bring some form of expectation (either positive or negative).

Didnt fowler manage at least 1 game? They sacked Ross on the afternoon of a match so someone must have taken it on the night
