Bang the lot in your pensionTax man will take minimum 20% of the 5k lumper. So that’s 1k gone straight away.
That's my thoughts20k lumper is a silly rumour when you do the math on what you’d make in shift allowance staying with Nissan.
Yes your tied in for 2 years that will give them time to employ some staff and get up and running they may only start on days only as they are onv gonna have to get everything up and running then ramp up graduallySo the 10% difference in shift premium for TOB is roughly £300 for 2 to 3 shifts. So Chinese pay you £20k over 2 years, then they recoup that £20k in less than 3 years and moving forward are making a saving ? Why would you even consider that ? They must put a caveat in place so if you leave you'll have to pay it back. Then for future employee's they're knackered as the pay structure is already in place ?

You ain’t gonna be working for two different company’s every other weekCould it be that until it gets up and running properly, they'll get people to work one week line 2 and the next week on Line 1, effectively putting them on permanent days, thus losing the 12% mentioned. Then the lump sum if the incentive to agree to it rather than forcing an arbitrary group of employees to accept less money.
Then after the two years is up and the line has been shown to be successful, then people would move over on permanent contracts.
I'd imagine they'd want a good mix of experience as running a new line purely on recent and new starters sounds like a recipe for disaster.

I knar, the Leaf seems a bit pricey compared to the opposition imo, being so late arriving also didn't help.Nissan Motor has abandoned plans to manufacture electric vehicle drive units in the UK, scaling back investment amid weak demand for its EV models in Europe.
I couldn't understand why it wasn't given a different name. It's production was ended and it has more than ran it's course. The whole industry was waiting for a new model and even though it's not the same car, I think people still equate it with the tired old LeafI knar, the Leaf seems a bit pricey compared to the opposition imo, being so late arriving also didn't help.
