Which is mad as apparently there's also corruption to get City to win the league. And that's before remembering Newcastle/Saudis have bought VAR, and Man Utd having the officials in their pockets too. And then theres LiVARpool as well.
 
Modern top tier football's become a reflection of society throughout the world, unfortunately.
The rich and powerful are protected and it's all but a closed door to aspirants. It's no accident that so many crucial decisions have (incredilously) gone in favour of the 'elite' clubs in recent games (Celtic in particular).

Since VAR they've had to come up with all kinds of subjective rulings to explain incidents and keep the gravy train rolling .
Say again , its inconceivable with the amounts of money involved that someone isnt on the take . Doesnt explain all of it but it certainly does some of it ..if it walks like a duck .
