Rightfully so, its a blatant red card. A high, dangerous, studs up tackle raked right down the back of the calf and no red, yet Dan Ballard catches some twats braid by accident and hes serving a 3 game ban.

Thing is I can forgive a ref on the pitch. The game is quick they could possibly miss it or not see the severity of it in a split second. However for VAR to view it and still get it wrong is baffling

100%. It's a great way to manipulate results.

Then an apology for a "mistake", like today's for Forest, absolves any guilt but does nothing to change the result or wherever points end up.

And the stats as to who gains points and gets the most positive decisions appears tp confirm it.

My view has always been this

I can forgive on field refs for missing these things , like tiny bits of contact or the flick of the ball off a hand , fair enough

Just go back to that

We've had one Pgmol apology today and there'll be another tomorrow, both in favour of top 3 teams against bottom 6 teams . And all because of VAR

Just get rid of it for fucks sake .
