Havertz Tackle a disgrace

Bloody hell, just watched it back. How he’s escaped a red there I’ll never know. Ref’s having an absolute stinker this season like…

It is corruption and the stats as to who gains most from VAR decisions prove it.
I dont know if its corruption or more the refs are too scared to make a decision that costs someone the title.

Guess if you know that and know you can get away with a bit more its a sort of corruption

My view has always been this

I can forgive on field refs for missing these things , like tiny bits of contact or the flick of the ball off a hand , fair enough

Just go back to that

We've had one Pgmol apology today and there'll be another tomorrow, both in favour of top 3 teams against bottom 6 teams . And all because of VAR

Just get rid of it for fucks sake .
Totally agree, the ref getting it wrong on field making a mistake is one thing but now we have long delays whilst they piss about looking at it and still get it wrong. What’s it achieving.

I also can’t stand the off sides where it’s someone’s toe or hand and it’s gets chalked off. Then the whole handball thing is ridiculous

It’s shocking though isn’t it
But hardly surprising given the folk involved with the 'big' teams, those who run football and the officials as well as the sums of cash involved.

The daft thing is though the big teams have e such big financial advantages that they shouldn't need another 'helping hand'.

My personal opinion is the attempts to try and level the playing field with FFP/PSR, added to by some of the other smaller clubs giving the 'big teams' a few scares by qualifying for European fitba, has been the catalyst for its introduction.

FFS leg breaking tackle VAR show over and over again and no red card!!! What the ferk are they doing!! What is the point of VAR!! Load of steaming stinking shite!!
Ok Mr Neville we heard you on the game no need to post on here you attention seeking freak

It's not corruption but it's 100% bias
I don't agree, it is corruption if it's biased enough to be able to be used to give an advantage to one team over another.

Who's pulling the strings to allow the bias? It must go up to the highest level. Who's head of PGMOL? Howard Webb. Nee conflict of interests or owt there then.

Not think all this corrupt shit has started since they didn’t get their own way with that European super league? Or am I adding 2+2 and coming up with 5

It's supposed to be a clear on field mistake that gets pulled up.

If it takes 5mins and watching it 200x slowed down and from 15 angles it's not a clear on field mistake.

I'd not dismiss anything the way the game is these days.

I always ask "If the incident happens in the same way at the other end is the ref/VAR giving it?"

99.9% of the time you know the answer is "No!" if it's one of the 'big teams'.

Sky profit off every single one of these bad decisions.

They get views and interactions from their Ref Watch(?) with Dermot Gallagher. Might potentially be looking into it slightly too much, but surely when theres an entire segment every week on SSN profiting off the consistently poor decisions, something has to be questioned, especially when said channel is owned by a broadcaster that literally funds The Premier League.

I just dont get it , ive been saying it for many years there's bent officials, accusing no one specifically.
Which other industry involving such high stakes is not subject to the old payola . Before VAR it was a few quid for a penna , offside call and no one really the wiser , human error .
Since VAR they've had to come up with all kinds of subjective rulings to explain incidents and keep the gravy train rolling .
Say again , its inconceivable with the amounts of money involved that someone isnt on the take . Doesnt explain all of it but it certainly does some of it ..if it walks like a duck .
