Laim Delap

very very very highly rated in his youth career. Lost his way a bit as an absolute basket case club.

Listened to a pod before he signed for Chelsea and there was a Man City journo on I think.

Said in all his years covering youth teams he said Delap was the closer thing he’d seen to Shearer.

he scored loads in the youth teams.

I’m not saying sign him like but he could be a very shrewd pick up for someone to kick start his career.

Although given the fees and the fact Chelsea did means he must be on a packet like.

My son is called Laim after the actor Liam Neeson
I’ve got our five…
Joe ( after Joseppe Bolton )
Tommy ( after Sorenson)
Anna ( nother after our 3 nil victories)
Luke -( at the Mags reaction)
Bobby ( Kerr and Sacko
Now wish we had gone on to have another

He largely dominated at youth levels due to his size and power, but since he's coming up against men hasn't been anywhere near as effective.

Even at Championship level he was never up to much, with 12 goals and 2 assists in 68 games.

3 of his 12 PL goals for Ipswich were penalties and whilst they obviously still count, 9 from open play is less impressive.

He's apparently on £100,000 a week at Chelsea. Utter insanity.

From Winchester which just shows how far the city has slipped since it’s heyday of producing international talent such as Alfred the Great and Danny Ings

No wonder they’re not Cat 1 anymore

I think he's a good player but it's clearly not working out for him at Chelsea. Would definitely have him here.
He’s not good at all he can’t shoot can’t head the ball and juts constantly barges people over when they have got loads of work to do still just makes it easy for defenders fouling them
