Coffee shops in Sunderland

They are bitter
Fausto is the same
Beat coffee I’ve had was at a beach side place in viareggio in Italy
The food at the place was quite expensive but of course wife wanted to go there
Incredibly the drinks were quite reasonable but the coffee was €1.25 and it was best coffee I’ve ever had
It was illy or segafredo

Best beans I’ve had are Morrisons Brazil or lofbergs

I've only had 2 from there, and I don't remember the first one (so likely nowt special either way). But that lighter roast last Sat was lovely. Really forward Passion Fruit notes iirc.

I see the next poster says their coffee is bitter - well, not that one, it was on the acidic side if anything.
Probably entirely depends on how they make it of course. Mind, if you use boiling water with a dark roast, you can get very bitter coffee - but if you use boiling water on a light roast its usually ideal. All down to how you make it, and if you really care you "dial in" each day.

I had one this morning following your recommendation. Nice, I thought. Very smooth. The opposite of bitter.
