Southampton spying compendium thread

They had their chance to report Southampton and obviously didn’t. Boro had the balls.
I think Boro only had the balls because the spy has been caught.

They've seemingly got away with it if they've been doing it nearly all season - or since this new lad took over.

If it’s in the rule book then the efl have the power to kick them out and I’m not sure Southampton would have any leg to stand on if they tried to take it too court surely.
On the basis of what is being suggested that this may not be an isolated incident as far as Saints is concerned. Southampton might be best advised to take a hit on this one and have a line drawn under the whole subject. That's if the other Championship Clubs and the FL are willing to allow it.

They had their chance and blew it. It would get too complicated and it won't happen.
This is the crux of it, Boro can't just be gifted a place at Wembley when they have already lost in the semi final. It makes a complete mockery of the competition and why should Hull have to play a team that weren't even good enough to get to the final in the first place?

You can't keep going back through every side. You'd have sides questioning relegation and promotion. Boro are the side directly affected
How do you work out the others like Wrexham weren't directly affected? They failed to get into the play offs by a very small margin. Where do you draw the line?

The legal people will have this going for a while yet. I'll be surprised if they get kicked out before the final as that would be efficient, and we know they are slow as hell making decisions.
