SOL the worst ground in the country

Definitely mate. I remember them taking the piss when we were relegated at their place in the 15 point season.
There used to be humour in football fans but it appears folk take mortal offence these days.

As much as I love our fanbase I have always thought pretty much any club in the league with a half decent fans would have took the piss and done the Poznan like we did.

It just happened to be at our place.

I'm still trying to work out if I'm less of a gadgee 'cos I like a sitty-down wazz once a week.
Well I always sit down for my all too frequent middle of the night piss. I’m half asleep and don’t put the light on so as not to wake anybody, which is a recipe for disaster for a stand up one. I don’t care if it makes me less of a man, at least I have dry feet

I wear slippers so that if I miss, they smell of piss instead of my feet.

I have to say he is doing Man U fans and Manchester folk in general a huge injustice posting nonsense like that. All the Man U fans I came into touch with yesterday were dead respectful and friendly. They were singing songs in the town/on the metro but obviously made an effort to be respectful by singing cheer up alan shearer, wes brown, o shea etc (all with Sunderland links). Heard a fair few Manc accents too and they were extremely down to earth.
Match-going fans generally are like this. There is usually a mutual respect. Internet / YouTube gobshites know fuck all.

I don't think this is really Steven Railston after a quick look at his twitter where he only has 23k followers for example. We've seen it alot with professional journos and it's usually a gravy stained mag behind it p*ssed off with 'the gap'.

Of course if it really is him, then f*ck him ;)

One of the best grounds going.

Was fantastic, and state of the art, when first built. The biggest new ground to be built in Britain. One of the best in the world.
Then there was a period of multiple similarish (but not as good) grounds built, followed by the next generation of grounds that were more corporate and sleeker (eg Emirates), and our stadium started to look a bit dated and off the pace.

We're now at the point where there's loads of new grounds, and they're built for entertainment and tourists, and look like spaceships. Suddenly our ground looks traditional, and proper. With the new investment helping it look more unique, I think we've got one of the best grounds going.
