SOL the worst ground in the country

I think the gender is in the username vauxie;)only wifey's say girlfriends in that context!
Wakoro is a small river in Mari language or is it some kind of woke talk?
Oddsy man im old school don't know all this new speaky things.

Not sure if said - haven't read whole thread. But he is a Newcastle fan who covers Man Utd.
Oh right, that's why he's bitter and small time. Makes sense now.
It's terrible to leave from if you drive, which most of our fans do as they're from outside Sunderland proper.

I jog home to Grangetown if I'm not drinking, I jogged home from the man utd game, got home in about 25-30 minutes, had a shower etc. then 1 hour after the match ended I drove to roker to meet one of my girlfriends, the traffic was still bumper to bumper coming from the stadium all the way along the wearmouth bridge, through the town, down the east end, all the way down commercial road passed the raich carter, all the way along to the Hendon Grange, and then to the tollbar, literally crawling traffic bumper to bumper, 1 hour+ after the match.

Then people wonder why people leave early? It's a total nightmare to get away from the sol. Worst in the country.
That's not normal though, must have been an accident.

Just a SGB with their usual craic.

Looking at this objectively & not as a Sunderland fan as much as I can, there’s absolutely no way it’s the worst ground in the country. I can’t think of a single metric it would be the worst on.

It’s not the worst in the country by far. Try driving to Liverpool or Everton. You can’t park anywhere near either stadium and the roads out are gridlocked for ages. Villa the other week was the same. It took me 20 minutes to get past one roundabout coming away from Burnley last season. Finally, if you think Sunderland is bad, you should’ve seen the traffic after Chelsea game this season when the nearby tube stations were closed: bumper to bumper for miles.

I don’t really understand the clamour to be home ASAP on a Saturday evening. Though we don’t all have to get dolled up to meet a floozy. ;)

Surely most locals will be home by 7pm latest so there’s plenty of time to prepare for a night out.

We left at FT, walked 20 mins to car in southwick, 170 miles drive (stopped at wetherby) and home for 9pm.

If I lived locally then I’d have a drink somewhere after the match until the traffic subsided.

Which I find to be acceptable. It mainly hinges on where you park imho.

It's an absolute piece of piss getting away from.

Drink in Founders post game, walk back over bridge to Riverside MSCP, straight out and back to Seaham for around 6.30.

Could probably get home sooner if I wanted tbh.

"wakorosy" sorry mate it was just a daft play on how posted his name ..no wokey stuff just infantile humour that even at the age of 65 im glad has never left me and hope it never will !

Nice to see he’s backed his claim up. The Poznan runs deep.

It's literally all it's based on.

Them f***ing the title and us taking the piss at our place clearly left it's mark.
Isn’t this just social media nowadays. People just lookimg for attention

To a degree but keep in mind that Ferguson and players from that Man U team have mentioned it several times since.
