Northern trains

Got the train from Billingham into Newcastle on Saturday, similar time to the ones we struggle on.
Was exactly the same for mag fans, train rammed, 2 carriages and full up at Hartlepool.

At least Northern are consistent!

I was planning on getting the first train up on Derby day, didn’t think it would be rammed full of that lot

Trains will be pretty full by the time they get into Sunderland.

I’d certainly opt for the metro if train is your only option of travel on Sunday

Quite cramped on the 10:21 from thornaby by the time we got to Sunderland as plenty of Spurs on as well. Journey back was fine, no bother at all

I f***ing hate them, especially on a match day. When I get to horden train station and see the walk way canny full my heart sinks I know I’m either not getting on the next train or it’s gonna be an uncomfortable 20 min ride squashed up against someone. Funny thing is I can guarantee half the train don’t pay especially those that get on at horden and seaham.
