Chemsdine Talbi 🇲🇦

Think it was more to do with it being a straight swap, although Angulo can play on the right too, but also Le Bris is a little cautious, as we know. Probably thought Hume would keep us a little more solid than through caution to the wind.

Mind, Hume had to come off when he did because he got inside his own head. Fucked up everything he tried for about 10mins including that break with Brobbey.
Game was there for the taking at that point, it was time to take the shackles off and put a more attacking winger on. The stage of the season we are at, I am sure if we went for it and got caught on the counter and got beat 1-0 fans would have respected RLB for giving it a go! On the flip side we could have got the winner we deserved!

Bags of potential there and often makes things happen. For me he seems to lack a bit of confidence or swagger that I’d like to see in a winger. He’s got quick feet and is rapid but seems a bit reluctant to take risks and run at people with intent. That could be instruction, of course.

Needs to work on his left foot. Constantly chops back on to his right when an earlier cross with his left would be a better option. There was an example yesterday where he done it and while the cross he put in wasn’t terrible, it was always fading away from the man running in at the back post. If he put it in with his left, suddenly that man is running on to meet a ball that’s coming towards him and away from the keeper.

He’s our best winger and has had an excellent season considering the league he came from, age and moving to a new country. I think it will be a real battle between him and Angulo next season.
He’s a very exciting prospect. Looks to have a good temperament too. I think he could be scoring 10 goals a season in the next couple of years.
