Chemsdine Talbi 🇲🇦

I mean, I agree with all this, I would like to see more of Talbi. but also we have a manager who is an ex youth team coach and has a degree in sport psychology. So it’s possible he knows what he is doing better than me!
This. I thinks it's a case of RLB trying to develop him at the right pace so he doesn't get burnt out but still progresses.

Gave him the day off cause he’s on Regis shit list at the minute

Everybody spends time on it throughout the season
Whenever we have a bit of a worse run of form, someone decides there's dressing room unrest or that players have fallen out with the manager. It's like our kass, projecting her emotions on me when she's mardy.

"You're in a bad mood.."

"No I'm not I'm just reading my book..."

As I've continually said, he needs to be starting games week in, week out.

None of this have a good game, don't see him for 3 weeks stuff should be happening any more.

Yes, he's young. He's also our best winger as things stand and will only continue to improve with the more game time he gets.

6 goals/assists for a wide player in a defensively minded system in his debut PL season having only started 44% of our games and played less than half (47%) of the total minutes available is a fantastic return.

Frustrating today, because he was a pain in their arse all match but couldn’t get a final ball right. If he can step it up a notch with his decision making, which will hopefully come with games & experience we’ve got a decent player there.

Thought he was decent today, surprised it was him taken off and not Hume (who I also thought had a canny enough game).

Think it was more to do with it being a straight swap, although Angulo can play on the right too, but also Le Bris is a little cautious, as we know. Probably thought Hume would keep us a little more solid than through caution to the wind.

Mind, Hume had to come off when he did because he got inside his own head. Fucked up everything he tried for about 10mins including that break with Brobbey.

Needs consistent game time, a regular position and a decent run. Could be a top player.

I like him and think he’ll only get better and better! The same with Angulo.

The dilemma though is that we need two ready made wide players if we’re to kick on.

Feel that he and Angulo will have to be patient next season but plenty to work with there.

Thing is him and Angulo are playing for the same position

I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to see talbi shipped out to be honest he’s clearly not fancied

They're both young, talented and inconsistent left wingers for me.

I'd buy someone for the right but I'd let these 2 compete for the left wing spot. Give one of them 60 minutes of a game and the other 30. Give them both opportunities to make an impact in games until one of them makes themselves an undisputed starter.

Can’t just judge him on stats though. He’s been pretty average and anonymous in most of his starts

The lad has done OK. He has improved certainly as you would expect for his age. When first started he had a tendency to give the ball away cheaply either nerves or just sloppiness but seems to have cut those out. He looks the most capable to score from outside the box he's had a couple that have just went wrong side of the post or been saved. He has also been put on the right a few times which is not his side and bizarrely left out altogether with Rigg being played on the wing. He still doesn't want to put his foot in really and RLB wingers defend 1st approach. I wouldn't be shocked if the club get a decent offer for him he will be allowed to leave in the summer, personally think that would be short sighted / mistake.
Angulo looks like he could be decent on that side aswell, injury has really not given us a chance to let him settle and ease him in, so it will have to be next season when we will get a chance to see if he is going to fit.

Yep. I'd have bought on Isidor for Hume earlier on to be honest, thought they were there for the taking. God knows what the formation would have been, but the way the table's looking we could probably have released the proverbial shackles a bit.

Was a bit surprised it was Mayenda, although I suppose it kept us in a similar shape.
