Ollie Robinson

Listening to Mark Butcher on Wisden he was asked about Robinson’s exclusion from England squads despite his Test bowling average. Butch said that it’s not a question of talent but that he’s heard the management have “lost trust” in him after several incidents (he didn’t go into anything specific) and that’s why he’s found himself out in the cold.

When hes fit, motivated and can get it down even at 82 he's as good as there is in the country. I'm just not sure he's got the drive to work at his fitness and conditioning. Its a shame a bowler of his height and skill set should be playing international cricket.

At Sussex this season he is the only player who won’t travel on the team coach with his teammates to games. He insists on making his own travel arrangements. Smacks of a sense of entitlement to me.

Same patter as when Hales got frozen out of the team. You need to do the whole lifestyle thing now, Robinson would have been more at home in the 70s and 80s.

Well after seeing this earlier today it's about time. As he shouldn't be reduced to this!

Even though Jimmy/Broad did a similar challenge on the channel.

There’s definitely room in the team for his style of bowling without Jimmy and Woakes around anymore. Last chance saloon when it comes to fitness for him though

Agreed I think he’s probably the best bowler in the country now that Anderson and Broad are gone and therefore England should pick him.

He has the talent to have played far more for England than he has so it’s a shame he’s wasted a lot of his career.
