Disney world Florida

I think its a new show. There was a Soarin' Over California too at one point, not sure that ever left DisneyLand though.
They had the original LA one at Epcot a couple of years ago. I'm not sure why they don't just randomly rotate them so it's different every time.

Yes that’s true, that would come out of that £300 left over.
By the time you hire a car and pay those fees it's probably cheaper getting an Uber every day? You can price it up from here via the app. I used them loads and barely waited more than a few mins for picks ups.

That is certainly an option. I think the total overall cost would be quite similar. I just like the freedom of having a car if we are in a villa and need to pop to Walmart or something. I get a good chunk off through my Amex card too but I appreciate most wouldn’t have that.

We've done it both ways.
Easy enough just to Uber to Walmart if you need it.
I would only get car hire now if we got an exceptional deal on it.
Uber also leaves the option of having a drink of you want to as well.

Still not sorted our next trip yet, hoping d23 sheds some news on openings so decision can be made. Having another trip to DLP in couple months to scratch itch.

The monsters inc ride is going up rapidly mind from the drone shots that are popping up. Looks like they’re gonna build the ride then build the building after.

I don't think it's been mentioned on this thread already. British Airways is changing their flight to Tampa from Gatwick to Heathrow from late October. This opens up getting the Newcastle to Heathrow morning flight, then a quick pitstop at Terminal 5 then over to Tampa. Tampa airport is only half an hour further away than Orlando and considerably quieter. We will be booking that for next May in a few weeks when the flights become available. It works out well for the day we will be flying back too, we can spend most of the day at Busch Gardens since we are basically driving past it to the airport anyway.

I'd take that over the drive back from Manchester tbh

Exactly our thoughts. I have a boat load of avios so going to fly business class with BA, so we were looking at driving down to Gatwick, stay over, then get the flight to Orlando. But that is a long drive, plus the extra expense of the hotel. The only issue is quite a long layover on the way back, it's about 4-5 hours. But that is sitting chilling in a lounge rather than driving back jet lagged. There is also a (fairly small) soft play in Terminal 5 to entertain the kids for a little bit. Being able to go to Busch Gardens is a bonus, we will have to leave the villa in the morning, so were just going to wonder around Disney Springs, but this makes the last day really usable.
