Xhaka v West Ham Fans

My wife's family are all West Ham fans.

And before we played Spurs I was all for West Ham going down. Then I saw Spurs' reaction to our win and it became a win-win for me.

If Spurs go down great, if West Ham go down, great.

What people seem to forget is that the Championship is actually enjoyable there just isn't as much money in it unfortunately.
If ( and I don’t believe they will ) Spurs go down they will have 50k min every game after winning first couple. That’s over 1m on gate receipts every game, them merch and parachute payments. They are 9th richest club in football and will barely feel the drop.
WHU are another matter
Their finances are not the best, the fans have been gaslit by owners for past 5 or more years
I hope they have good youth set up

Are Forest still in the equation? If they lose to Chelsea I noticed they got some hard games to finish. Could be an outside bet, worth a tenner.

I'm pretty sure "barely feel the drop" is absolutely miles off the truth. Their income due to drop roughly £181.5 million in year one and it gets worse if they don't come up.

And they already made a loss of £126 million with premier league money.

Can you explain the 181.5m drop ? I thought the 1st year parachute payment was equivalent to to a bottom half PL club ?

It's not my research and I suppose no one knows for sure but here's some links from a quick search , they all guess at different amounts. None say 'hardly notice the difference' though
