Massive performance. Last season we would have folded like a pack of cards in that situation at the start of day four. Whoever said the wicket would flatten out got it spot on and all.

Gay and Bedingham rightly get the plaudits but I don't get the criticism of McKinney. For ages the criticism of him was he was too attacking to open, but he batted time nicely, ate up most of the morning session which is exactly what an opener should have done in those circumstances.
