he could of slotted it down the whole keepers right side with his left foot before he got so close, if he took the shot early. He got too close to chip the keeper it would of needed ridiculous height and trajectory hence him getting his hand to it

I feel like likr Xhaka is 90 % organizing the team on the pitch and keeping things ticking over very simply but isn't really influencing the games in an attacking sense. With that being the case, his midfield partner needs to be up and down, more box to box but Sadiki isn't that either.

Diarra scuffs every kick.

To progress I think we need Le Fee in middle and a box to box all rounder alongside Xhaka.

Diarra hasn't tried to chip a keeper from a penna has he? That was Le Fee who tried (and failed with) that.

Nah, just strolled up, tried to give the keeper the eyes and passed it in, low and down the middle. Keeper got a bit of it.

Edit. Wasn't last min. Was around 80 FWIW.

Was superb keeping the more you watch it. Out quick to him, made it so he was central so didn't have an angle and then as you say, got a great hand to it.

As people have said, they will judge a player more harshly if he cost a lot. I disagree with that view tbf.

Agree with the former. More than happy with Sadiki along side Xhaka. Get better wider players.

Why it was totally reachable height ! It was the wrong finish to try he was trying to be a smart arse and showboat

Thats the whole point he should not be getting a hand to it at all man he’s got a massive f***ing goal to hit with only the keeper he tried to be a smart arse

No he hasn't. The keeper cramps him, so he doesn't have angles. If you know football you'll know forwards take the ball to one side, to create an angle. Many players go for the dink when square on. It's not being a smart arse. It's excellent goal keeping.

He cramps him because he advances with the ball so far !!! A goal is 24 ft wide dot. Tell me if he’s in the middle he can’t slot it or curl it done the side or even a height he can’t reach curl it

Nope. Keeper gets out quickly. You saying he should be taking the shot much earlier now? Ffs :lol:

So in the space of two posts you have gone from he's got all the goal to aim at and is a smart arse to he has to go the way he does because he takes the ball too far :lol:

I used to think you were canny clueless but it's now apparent you're on the wind up.
