It was a banner someone else designed. I looked at it for a minute or two. I had no idea people would be bothered enough by it for it to have its own thread on here. I suppose people will moan about owt

I know the Club didn’t design the banner and I didn’t say they did, but I don’t think it a coincidence.

What do you mean when you say ‘bothered’? It’s not the end of the world but do you not have opinions about stuff that happens? If the decision is political and not merit-based then we have a right to call it out and pay no attention to it when the Club try to promote it.

What makes you think its design was political?

I think Jill Scott on Legends’ Way is political, and either the Club have colluded with the designer to try and subtly justify that decision, or the designers share the view of the Club and are making a point.
