That's a valid point but just one side of the argument. No reason for dismissing the other. There is absolutely zero merit to the argument of wanting Regis peddled when he's kept us up comfortably in our first season back in the top flight in nearly a decade.

The reaction hasn't been that bad imo mind. Most just thinking ffsI've just had a little scan the morning after the night before to see the lay of the land, expecting people to be shrugging their shoulders a bit or maybe lolling at the shit show performance and how it was a crazy spell of football where everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. Instead we've got people analysing the fck out of the game and picking apart our manager who has in fact been an absolute marvel all season along with pretty much all of the players.....
What a set of absolute pratts some of our supporters are man.![]()
Don't ask me to defend that position, as I made up my mind when we did the derby double. It doesn't stop me reading the valid arguments others are making, and see their points. I'm just more of a fatalist and trust the owners to make the right calls. So what's the actual argument for wanting him out then?

It's not difficult but it's not my place to defend an argument others are making. You can go and read it yourself, I'm sure you can find it and debate them without getting too upset about it.If you think their arguments are valid then it shouldn't be difficult to highlight what those arguments actually are.

Wen did I volunteer to become your google? Go and find the people who want him out and ask them ffs!I'm not asking you to defend it. I just want you to point out the arguments you've seen for him being peddled that you think are valid.
Nobody is upset, we're just requesting something simple that you seem to be finding difficult.
Can’t be many who want him out surely….Were favourites to go down.
Got a new team in and gelled.
Been tested with injuries.
Had the AFCON to deal with.
Bonus of beating the filth twice.
Safe with plenty to spare.
Talk of Europe with only 5-6 games remaining.
Set up was defensive, but worked. Then got the clamour for more attacking, with people thinking we'd be just as sound defensively. Leaked a few goals last couple of games as a result and now people want the manager out.
I've just burst out laughing![]()

No man, I don't need to give you a single example. The whole premise of this thread is based on the fact that some people want him gone. Go find them! When you said there are valid arguments for wanting him gone, but then not being able to give a single example, seems pretty pointless? It sounds like you're confusing opinions with valid arguments.
Indeed Moo. Ti's embarrassing.I've just had a little scan the morning after the night before to see the lay of the land, expecting people to be shrugging their shoulders a bit or maybe lolling at the shit show performance and how it was a crazy spell of football where everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. The good old Sunderland genes! You just know if it could happen to anyone, it's us.
