Players unhappy from the start tonight

It wasn’t the players were unhappy, it was down to the fact that we just couldn’t cope with their high press, they were full of energy and closed us down constantly and we were just too slow we showed no urgency at all. The first 15 mins before the first goal was quite tight but after that they completely dominated us, we still tried to do the same thing and it cost us. We got exposed on set pieces and couldn’t defend their balls in the box and they just constantly were winning all the second balls.

Probably a professional athlete who feeling like shit at the way the games gone and is fucked off at some fan having a go.

Fans like that make things worse, get behind the team or don’t bother coming

There’s been a virus going around the club.

Its one of those things. Fans have a right to have a go at 4 nil down and he needs to remember we want the same thing. As for Mukiele he does work hard and for a lad with the frame he has puts some running in. Hes always an outlet when we never though he would or could be.

Thats usually suited us in the past though. Reason we play it out from the back to try and draw teams onto us but yeah they were very agressive. Why from the outset we didnt look like we had the movement to draw and play itnthrough them and choice of passes was way off.

Xhaka didn’t look bothered that we were getting hammered. The captain should be rallying the troops and kicking a few arses when the going is getting tough!

Tbf they had a little huddle after the second. Must’ve decided to carry on as they were as we conceded again 3 minutes later or summit.

That was my take. Thousands left before half time. That must affect the players. And whoever booed after the season we’ve had should be ashamed.
PISS POTS
If they would rather be in the pub why buy a season ticket ?
I get its a friday night but put it on RESALE and go to the pub
Let a true supporter attend

The clue is in the word SUPPORT

Our fans are tame compared to a lot in the premier league. Unless you’re playing a truly elite side, it’s never ever acceptable to be 0-4 down at home at half time.
Personally, I think booing is pathetic and small minded. I was really proud of the fans singing “Don’t worry” and trying to pull the team along despite being 4-0 down. It’s what makes our support superior rather than tame.

We were the complete opposite of too high and too adventurous. The ponderous slow play out from the back - Ballard to Roefs to Alderete to a forest player was on rinse and repeat. It doesn’t work and invites pressure and we end up far too deep
Centre half’s getting the ball edge of our box and mukiele is standing in their half impossible to pass too

I don’t think thousands left before half time, i think thousands got up and went for a drink, probably felt they needed it! Most of them were back for the second half. I would say it was only the minority who actually left. Traffic was still horrendous after full time.

Few did leave the ground like. The Sun have a vid of fans outside the west stand entrance leaving the ground at half time

I was pleased with the villa performance, 3 good goals scored and we looked at it. I thought “well we’re really starting to put performances together for the end of the season and we won’t concede 4 next week”!
……………… and I was right!
