Players unhappy from the start tonight

They played alright for 15 minutes then the formation went to shit.

I do think 09 and Alderate communicate with each other better than Ballard and Alderate as controversial as it might be to say .

I totally disagree but not because I think 09 and Alderete are poor, they’re not. Last night was a tactical fault that got spotted by Forest very quickly. Forest are exceptionally quick on the break, we were playing a really really high line and high press.

Our best chance of the game before they scored came from our CB (Ballard) making a mazy run into the box. We were far too high, far too adventurous and we got punished, heavily.

We were below par, possibly post viral so not quite physically top notch or maybe just one of those games but we were also on the wrong end of some fairly freakish stats. They had an XG of 1.3 and 6 shots on target. For five to go in is pretty anomalous. We weren’t good but we weren’t 0-5 bad either( although the record books will obviously state that).
Regroup and move on.

We were an utter shambles last night, at sixes and sevens, & all over the shop, especially in the defence.

It looked like we suffered one helluva hangover, from last week's topsy turvy match, at Villa.

Looking like we were heading for defeat at Villa, and then grabbing two goals out of the blue, to level the game, very late on, and then squandering a golden opportunity to actually win a game, in which for so long, we looked like losing, only to actually throw it all away in the last seconds of injury time, and ultimately come away with nothing at all, seems to have drained the confidence & belief right out of the team.

If Rigg puts that early chance away that he hit straight at the keeper, or Diarra doesn’t put the stupid cross in that they pretty much break from and score then it’s probably a different game.

The concern is how quick their heads dropped and how quickly all shape and discipline left the team after the first goal.

We really really need to stop this tippy tappy shit out from the back though. The idea behind it is to encourage the press and then go over the top and I’m behind, except we forget the over the top and in behind bit.

There don’t always have been hidden agenda behind the scenes when there’s a poor result. It’s sometimes just we were shite.

That’s entirely unrealistic
Yes probably......Well I've never ever boo my own team....if I don't like what I see I just stay quiet during the game....but I guess others can't control their feelings and lash out. I suppose it might make them feel better but it doesn't achieve anything.

Too high & too adventurous? That had nowt to do with the shit defending and free headers that gifted them goals.

I didnt boo and stayed till the end. Am I now a happy clapper ? A lot straight down the tunnel nordi first one .
Xhaka hume rigg onien last off .
Why is diarra undropable as he was absolutely woeful yet again and reggie took the easy way out hooking riggy
Should of been a triple chsnge at hslf time hes pretty clueless with subs tbh

Diarra and Xhaka should have also been hooked at half time. Game was gone so rest Xhaka who was well off the pace. And Diarra because, well, he’s utter gash.

I agree with all of that so personally I’m disappointed with Xhaka, Mukiele who are our ‘senior’ players and should be on-field leaders.

We were the complete opposite of too high and too adventurous. The ponderous slow play out from the back - Ballard to Roefs to Alderete to a forest player was on rinse and repeat. It doesn’t work and invites pressure and we end up far too deep
