Players unhappy from the start tonight

Its hardly an outrageous opinion ready. Both our captain and right back havf showed noticeably disdain towards our fans lately. Two big players and personalities. You reckon our manager will be dragging them in for a word?
The same Xhaka who apologised the fans for the performance in the club interview after the game?

Sadiki was raging with his teammates, which I thought was good to see tbh.

Pressed on his own then turned around and went mental, sprinted out for the short corner while everyone else was asleep, committed a foul to cover for Hume being out of position etc and had something to say about it every time.

Usually you can see Xhaka getting hold of people and keeping everyone switched on but he seemed a bit off it tonight in that regard. A bit strange really but he’s human and might’ve been struggling for one reason or another.
Xhaka didn’t look bothered that we were getting hammered. The captain should be rallying the troops and kicking a few arses when the going is getting tough!

I don't think there was a downing of tools. Even Mukiele was genuinely incensed with the ref in the 2nd half for something he got wrong. You don't react like that if you don't care. Hell, even the jip with some of our fans showed he is emotionally invested. The folks who have downed tools just don't try and then walk away. You saw Sadiki frustrated with his own team mates and then some very animated reactions from Brobbey and Diarra in their frustration when the goals went in.

It was said already, but we were just outplayed then made that worse by making our own mistakes. Tactically we also got it wrong and looked one-dimensional with no idea how to deal with a high press apart from continuing to pass short into dead ends.

If this keeps happening then I'll accept there is something more fundamentally amiss and needing to change but the team and manager have more than earned the right to show they can fix those things for now.

You’d have to be a proper sad bastard to be booing these players like.

That said, Nordi needs to toughen up a little bit, 4-0 down at half time is bound to attract criticism and rightly so.

Didn’t see it that way myself, after getting boo’d off they were asking the fanes to stay with them, most of them did just that.
Not sure many clubs would be clapping their teams off after getting humped four nowt at the half mind. Was probably the worst last thirty mins of a half I’ve seen us have at home in probably theee or four years. Was so many misplaced passes, slack or non existent marking and just all round self imploding. Was like a full team headloss that 10-15 mins spell. Football is very emotional game and some fans reacted. Many saw tonight as a real chance to push up into contention for Europe and had been built up as such around the stadium and pubs etc.

Deserved to be booed off. Only have themselves to blame. About time they realised we aren’t some f***ing PSG Saudi backed nicety, and working class fans demand graft. Been there all season, no idea why it wasn’t there tonight.

Fuck off you absolute tit.

Not sure the manager has the personality to handle big name players especially when things aren't going great. Cant help but think the dressing room isn't as together as they'd make you believe
I don’t believe things in dressing could possibly have regressed that far since Villa game
I think we were badly prepared, add in a couple of deflections and an off day by Roefs.
The way the club manages to conceal transfer activity and departures eg David Bruce, till the very last minute, I don’t believe there is any truth whatsoever re RLB getting peddled

There has been something going on. It's been widely reported that a virus has been going around in the team.

If most of the team have been ill the past few weeks, it's hardly surprising they weren't as "on it" as usual.

Must be a special end of season clear out sale of Safc tin foil hats
Some of the theories behind the bad ( woeful ) performance are certainly inventive to say the least

I agree. But do you judge them on a bad game or over the season?
