Think he might ( might) be on borrowed time and there is something not right in the mix . Moral seemed to drop after the Mags , mood was odd at Villa, not a smile to be seen , Riggys day in the life video showed a few distant interactions, last nights first half debacle where he just watched it fall apart . A top manager would have put Roefes on his arse with a hammy and had a meeting not let them huddle alone . He gives zero on field direction once they cross the white line . Motivation seems low and hes not the type of manager to turn it by force of personality .
If theres a marquee manager available in summer we might just see a step change from KLD , RLB , Luke , Trai, Isidor , Eliza etc all gone at a swoop and a new order made
 
Maybe there’s more to these rumours about him, this performance has come off the back of them. It’s ridiculous to think he should be sacked after what he’s achieved with us but there’s a few good managers out of contract this summer…

I don't want another manager gone, but he's making some pretty glaring obvious fuck ups. Persisting with playing out from the back when it's clear the opposition is set up to press has been pretty constant this season and has landed us in the shit more than once now, but he doesn't change tactics. The 5 CM's meaning there's no width, pace, or directness. Square pegs in round holes when there's options on the bench.....nope!

I want to see him learn. We hear it enough after a defeat, but I've not really seen him change much tbh.
I'm happy to stick with him, but I'm sure the board will be watching the remaining games with maybe a big decision to make.
 
Not as many fuck ups as teams below us so they must proper ferked up?? We are where we are and should be delighted looking forward to refreshed manager n Squad and in coming players. We are in a great place no need for hysterics🤣

What counts as a marquee manager who we could realistically attract, though? Probably the ceiling is someone like Glasner or Iraola, but I'm not sure why either would leave the jobs they're in to come here. Silva's contract is up I believe, but he's done average jobs at as many PL clubs as he's done well with. Someone on here (hopefully on the windup) mentioned Rosenior last night - he has some name value now, but he's a clown & a blagger who would seriously end my faith in the board if they went near him. Farioli is the one who seems to keep cropping up, but he could easily be another Amorim.

Yeah I heard Postecoglou, Frank, Amorim or Rosenior are available. Would be a huge step-up. :rolleyes:

They all failed spectacularly while having a very good reputation, the same kind of reputation an eventual RLB replacement would have.
So i wanted to say of course unless some weird things we are not aware of are happening between him an dthe players behind the scene, SAFC should keep him as long as his results are decent (not in a relegation battle)
