August or May matchThe first game i took my daughter (5 at the time) to was the Stoke home game last year (Tommy Watson scored 2), and it was one of the coldest games i've ever been to. She spent the whole game shivering and we ended up leaving on about 60 minutes. She loves football now but i'm struggling to convince her to come to another game as she thinks it's always too cold![]()
I hope the bairn has a great night win or lose. Or draw!Taking my eldest to his first game tonight. He's not massively into football in general but he's looking forward to it. Hoping it gets under his skin as ive always wanted to bring him.
Could be the start of a lifelong supporter. I hope
Haaaaaaaaway!!!!
That’s weird cause my first game was a 0-4 defeat at home to villa in 1985My son's first PL game was a 0-4 defeat at home to Villa. IIRC we were 0-4 down at half time.
He was still hooked and we signed up for Season Tickets straight after
First day of the season. My first game was what I thought was a 2-1 win over Leicester in 1995
Took me by complete surprise when I looked back 20 years later to find out we actually lost that game 2-1!
How old?Taking my eldest to his first game tonight. He's not massively into football in general but he's looking forward to it. Hoping it gets under his skin as ive always wanted to bring him.

When I got together with my missus both her lads were not really into footy so I thought I'd take them to a match and get them indoctrinated early. We should win this, I said to them on the way into the ground.Taking my eldest to his first game tonight. He's not massively into football in general but he's looking forward to it. Have taken my daughter to two matches at the SoL. We’ve conceded five on both occasions (Coventry and Blackburn). I guess it sets expectations at a reasonable level. My son's first PL game was a 0-4 defeat at home to Villa. IIRC we were 0-4 down at half time.
