Wrestling - Part 3

I thought she looked better than usual (Mind, she is normally terrible) and looked convincing. That said, she must have hit the big boot/jumping kick about 17 times
Her walk to the ring was just awful too. Talking like a social influencer. Not selling a character at all, just reacting like a Karen. That's what I meant originally when I said she just doesn't get it.
Unlike when Dom & (hate to say it, Paul) first popped up, they just got the game and knew how to act their characters.

I fast forwarded her entrance tbh, anything to get to Rhea

She is crap though, and the death knell was that she's so bad on the mic, they had to stick B-Fab and Michin with her!

We saw Flair at Wrestlecon on Friday. He looked absolutely goosed, could barely walk. He also looked like if you looked at him the wrong way he’d give you a mouthful

Flair has absolutely lost the plot and should be banned from public appearances and speaking.
He's barred from quite a few pubs and bars in Tampa Florida where he lives and what he does is he goes to restaurants and crashes their happy hour times. He's been filmed arguing with staff in a few places. It's sad to watch.

Wyatt Sicks is done. 3 are in the 5 releases announced so far (bo, Joe, nikki, alba Fyre and zoey stark)

All wyatts went.

Kairi, black, vega, MCMG, apollo, Santos
Get the feeling it the Wyatt thing was done as a favour to Bray and once it wore off, they didn't seem to do anything.
Kairi's gone again :(, no idea if she's done anything like

Wyatt Six were absolutely dog balls mind. Didn't fit in at all, they looked like Temu Rob Zombie characters and Rob Zombie is shite n'all

😂
I don't want to be as cynical as to suggest it was to exploit the Bray situation... but it definitely was a factor.

It definitely was and there wasn't much you could do with it. They were too ott and let's be honest, Windham Rotunda's ideas for the best part we're absolutely shite. Bad Blum house horror doesn't work too well in current wrestling

Why in christs name have they got Jacob Fatu dressed up like he's in De La Soul in 1992?! Oh dear me 🤦 @Mr Redknapp

Watched the first couple of episodes of the Hogan documentary and it's very good tbf.

Interesting character, we all know his flaws but he was genuinely a ridiculously massive star who transcended more than just being a wrestler.

He achieved allt hat and seemingly was still unhappy enough to make up loads of stupid lies for now reason whatsoever.

Let greed get the best of him as well. How much can you want to the point you are constantly severing every relationship you have in life and ruining your own legacy.

Great story though.

Highlights just how shite wrestling is nowadays mind.

Wrestling peaked and died with the end of the Attitude era circa 2002 - before social media took over. Still amazes me they can sell out stadiums mind with people paying upwards of £2k+ for a ticket to the big shows.

Ruthless Aggression era was decent tbf but that was pretty much the end of wrestling as any semblance of being a wrestling show. Tej Attitude Era obviously had a lot of razzmatazz but still had some great wrestlers so you got both.

After that you still had Angle, Lesnar, Benoit, Eddie etc who could have amazing matches and the back end of Michael's, Taker etc.

Each era afterwards just filtered more into acrobats and cosplayers. They can all do amazing feats like multiple summersaults etc but barely anyone can actually wrestle now, it's all smoke and mirrors.
