Liam Rosenior compendium thread

Got to admit I though he’d get to the end of the season….😂maybe the players were just to tired to play after listening to his drivel…..
People who decided on him from the start are the ones deserving of the sack. Way to early for that job and his approach was always going to be eaten alive. He doesnt have the reputation as a player or coach to carry that into a job like Chelsea and for the players to truly buy in. Wouldn't be suprised if the guarding of the ball was them taking the piss out of him😂
Must be hard to turn it down but in your heart you must realise surely its a bad idea.

Players and director of football need to look at themselves as well though as its not just down to him.

He hasn't got the personality to manager top Premier teams. Plus players look at him and think what have you ever done.
He can have all the tactical awareness and coaching badges you can ever have but if you walk into that dressing room and players take no notice than your up against it. Some managers just ooze respect with top players, he doesn't.
Not sure about this because loads of great managers had modest footballing careers, including our own. To me what’s more likely is that top players who’ve been coached at a very high level are able to smell the lifting bullshit emanating from his every pore.

Apart from a few good results early on he’s been a disaster. Amount of corporate-speak LinkedIn bullshit he comes out with is unbelievable.
I bet he comes across as a right patronising twat. I can see him lecturing elite footballers on having a positive state of mind like he did in his playing days at Hull City.

That squad is gonna take some sorting out they have a lot of poor to average players on long term contracts that they will still be paying long after they leave the club.

I can understand the really long contracts for players, it means they can spend more by spreading the cost over 6+ years. If the player doesn't work out you'll probably be able to sell them, no need to pay off their contract.

For managers it's madness. Very few managers last 5+ years nowadays, and if it doesn't work you're going to end up paying out most of their contract to get rid of them.

It's just weird.
