Liam Delap, anyone?

Would have been disappointed signing him in the championship, looked shite at Stoke and Hull.

Looked better at Ipswich. But still like a championship striker

Having a fkn nightmare season aint he, thought he was good last year and predicted he would be....I would take him for the right deal, but he would need to turn it around.

Double figures in a rubbish relegated Ipswich side. Amazing what a run of games and ounce of confidence can do to a player – and his touch/composure/finishing. Again, the finances would dictate it, but I reckon he'd do a job for us.
Flemming has 9 this season for Burnley in 24 games. Not sure I would want him though.

Yes, I'd take him. He scored 13 in a poor Ipswich side. He's got ability and the potential to improve. My main concern would be his injury record. Good player though.

Got a bit of the Connor Wickham about him imo.
Close but no cigar.
Yep, very good comparison. He's got all the tools to be a good player but can't quite put it together. I suppose when you play up top the most important thing is to stick it in the onion bag. Bar a purple patch both players didn't do it regularly enough to justify their transfer fees.
