I agree re. Criticism of the manager. He got it wrong selecting him. He got it horrendously wrong not taking him off.

But reggie has so overachieved so much with what hes done with us we cant be too critical of him.

As for o'nien, I think even his biggest supporters know, deep down, hes simply not PL quality.
 
Lovely lad, and great to have around the club. He's had a little run, but today showed he's not at this level.

Ballard back in on Friday and let's push on. All 4 goals today were some of the poorest We've given all season.

He really struggled today, Watkins had the measure of him from the off - we looked ropey as defending balls into the box as Villa were putting into areas occupied by 09. Love the lad but he isn’t anywhere near what’s available in his position.

We had the mag mistake the other week, lucky to not give penalty away against spurs, today he was all over the place, if your being kind he’s at fault for at least two of the goals
Mukiele, Ballard and geetrudia all better players than him for that position
 
Think hes played well recently but got taught a lesson off Watkins today. Looked all over the place.

Ballard in next week. If alderete is out, nordi to cb and hume in

Reinildo wasnt much better today mind

He isn't up to it. No problem with him playing when he has had to. My preference would be to move him on and replace him with a better player.

Just like they did with Patterson, Neil, Roberts, Cirkin.
 
If you look at Watkins second goal there are 4 Sunderland players in the box.

The thing what gets me is how Luke is held to a higher standard by those who constantly state he isn't PL quality.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off if its O'Nien who gets the goal in the Chelsea game which puts us into Europa.

Tell ya what like difference in movement between a massively out of form watkins and literally every striker in the championship is scary :lol: like two different sports when you look at coventry who have Wright and Simms up top, Millwall with Coburn, and Ipswich with Azon and Hirst
