I thought he was lacklustre against Brentford, thought he gave up, and he was subbed late on and didnt appear for was it three games?

He's a good player. But the west ham mess and the Liverpool transfer speculation have sent his stock miles higher than his performances warrant.

Ridiculous expectations. You can't just throw him on in that system. We need to go back to the drawing board post Xhaka and work something out on the training ground that gets the best out of Gerty in the defensive midfielder role.

The Hume system is redundant and I don't know why he persists with it, bizarre from Reg.

The way people go on about him you'd think he's the second coming of Makelele, but he can't get in the team for whatever reason but presumably on merit, and the last few times he has been seen he's been quite bad. I really don't understand the hype around him tbf

He was class against the mags, literally won us the game in the last minute with a beautiful tackle.

Similar to a few others he doesn't get credit for what he's done well and is hit with the 'lazy' stick quite a lot. Kept the ball in really well to set up the goal against Fulham, sliding tackle to save the 3pts against the mags, great ball over the top for Brobbey away to chelsea and was then somehow also in the box by the time he played it to Talbi to score
