Diarra lately

Fuck off.

£30m and he’s been such a disappointment. He’s got 2 options, slot it home or square it and it’s 3-4. He tries to be clever and does whatever the fuck it was he did.

Scored a fluke against Burnley. Done fuck all the rest of the season. Get him gone.
Saying square it when your watching on tele is the easiest thing to say in the world.

Players don't have 10 eyes on their head to see 360.

The finish was woeful but giving up the first 3 goals is why the result hasn't ended up positive for us today

Football fans always ignore the 90 mins and focus on one split second though. We've all been guilty of that before

I thought he was quite poor today tbh. He was quite negative and slowed us down a few times, also had some poor touches.

Looking back it was a great save actually, not a bad effort. Still the wrong choice as Martinez has no chance if he goes either side.
I need to see it again but thought it looked fairly comfortable, the save. Martinez is one of the worlds best.
He should have slide it either side or feinted to shoot and played in Talbi. Easy to say though, all happens very quickly.

The easiest way to absolve your self of the majority of blame is to pick a corner and put your foot through it.

He’s tried to be clever and ended up looking foolish. It’s a hard pill to swallow.

So easy isn’t it. Lad is young in his first season in the premier league. Surely people have learnt not to write players off.

Nothing to do with his miss today i just don’t rate him and made a thread on him few weeks back. Everytime the ball comes to him in a dangerous position he takes a touch and massively slows us down he never whips it in first time etc

Just saw a report saying Talbi was wide open to slot it in. If that’s true I’m really disappointed in an attempt at a chip that the defender would have cleared anyway.
i don't have any problems with Diarra going for goal but yes Talbi was to the side of him (slightly behind/onsides) if he knew he could have done a small pass to the right and Talbi has a wide open net.

In that moment though Diarra is straight up with the keeper 1 on 1...his chip attempt tells me that he had absolute tunnel vision he didn't have any sense of defenders or teammates lol...I think if the chip clears it's getting cleared before it goes over the line tbh. He needs to take a touch to the right and slot it home, or just slot it around Martinez from where he was...just feel bad for the kid personally. I know that goal would have done a lot for him with supporters

Thought he was man of the match last week but poor today. Really don’t know what hew thinking at the end. Terrible decision making which has cost us the game.

No he didn’t. Anybody who’s kicked a ball before will understand a good cross can take defenders out of the equation.
Go and watch Ballard defend the cross for Watkins chance that he blocked and compare his positioning to oniens. Ballard is across his man and square on to the attacker which allows him to attack the ball. Luke is tangling with his man and too busy grabbing and tugging to actually defend. He’s had his arse ripped for 3 crosses in a single game and been totally destroyed.
