Diarra lately

Would be disappointed if he’d cost £3M, let alone 30.

Has the brass neck to argue with fans after the port vale debacle, do that today and be utter shite in general.

Watch the Mags & Spurs games back and watch him specifically, defensively he’s dogshit.

People on here say “he’s a second striker” aye well that f***ing worked didn’t it. If we’re selling anyone this summer I hope it’s him. In a team of heroes this season, he’s just shite.

Fair point. Not sure on balance we deserved the win. But it would have marked another stage in our development to score 4 away at a top five team.
I think the fact we had the game there for the taking is what is hurting us more than the defeat itself which most if not all fans were accepting. I mean that second half bar that crazy last 5 minutes we were poor.

Martinez is an excellent keeper and made a good save. If Diarra had hit it hard and low and Martinez stuck out a leg and saved it he wouldn’t be getting anywhere near the grief he’ll cop for trying to chip him.

Very similar to Le Fee’s panenka at Brentford, Diarra needs to learn (through painful experience) that there’s a time and a place to attempt something like that, and this was neither.

Roll a three yard pass to his right and Talbi has a tap in.

Onwards and upwards - beat Forest on Friday night and all will be forgiven.

I was already over the defeat at 3-1, was in the middle of an online Tesco shop when Hume scored. Now it feels totally different having lost in that manner.

Gonna be some way OTT comments on here about Diarra today I imagine
Has been all season if he'd cost £10 mil you'd not see it

I'm frustrated at the missed opportunity after getting back into to game but he's not to blame for the result.

The reaction after Le Fee paneka pen against Brentford (myself included) was also over the top.

That's already proven to be f***ing stupid and he was our record transfer until Diarra came along.

If it was still 3-1 and he missed the reaction would be much less OTT. If we’d drawn everyone would have been disappointed but pleased overall. It’s only because we chucked it that people are over reacting.

He seems to think he is a bit better than he is, is what I meant to say earlier. It didn't help he had a look at the keeper and probably have away what he was doing to such an experienced keeper.

Diarra clearly gonna get the brunt of the hate after today but O'Nien is shockingly bad. We cannot have him on the pitch next year as much as he's been this year.

Sick for Diarra, he has had a history this season to have headloss in moments, and as the guy we've brought in to be our offensive box to box midfielder, his end product just isn't there.

Hopefully this is his Le Fee panenka moment. Club and supporters need to back this kid...he's only 21 and under Rosenoir he was Strasbourg's captain for a reason. He plays hard but you just absolutely cannot chip there. Don't even think it goes in if he clears Martinez cleanly either.

He's gonna have a lot of eyes and opportunities with Senegal in the world cup as well, hopefully he grows from this.
