It’s football now, who you sell too and who you buy off is dictated by where you sit in the league system mainly.

Only the really top teams (Madrid, city for example) avoid it, look at Chelsea, fighting for champs league and if Madrid are interested Fernandez would be sold/off in a flash

You can’t grasp that we sell for maximum value profit and reinvest?? The 100% you’re spouting was a example in layman’s terminology, if we as a club x3 x6 x3000% in your words what we got for Ross steward (massively inflated) get a return on investment it’s only going one way….. ⬆️

But in no way is Sadiki's maximum value £34m or Roefs £20m.

It doesn’t reach a threshold where we sell for profit only and I’ve never said I want to sell anyone because it’s “100%” profit it was only a example that some slightly lessers might find it hard to differentiate between. Enjoy your mash
 
As much as I like sadiki I think id be far more gutted if one of Ballard, Mukiele, xhaka or le fee left possibly even brobbey because I think he’d be the hardest to replace.

Hes a good little player sadiki but as it stands teams would be paying for potential and being realistic if he hits the heights expected he won’t be playing here anyway

I’d throw the toys right out the pram is xhaka or Ballard left

The lad has proven himself to be more than capable in the premier league we will hold out for a much higher return if he actually does leave this season.

Same. Though I think there’s little to no chance of that. I think for the younger ones we have bought will have been on the promise not to stand in their way should a big team come in for them.

The difference being between us and the mags is we have a very well structured recruitment team in place as we have identified this is the area that is most important when it comes to being competitive whilst retaining sustainability.

Wholly agree with this statement but if the club have identified a replacement for around the same money or above and make a profit from the deal that’s what we need to do as a club
