Sadiki to Chelsea (internet chat)

But you’re looking at this from a fan’s perspective not a billionaire business owner whose family are steeped in football. Of course we want the club to either maximize the profit or keep the player.
50m would be almost à 250% profit ( based on 17m purchase cost). After 1 year. We are all aware of the model and I doubt KLD would turn such a profit down
Add in the lad getting his head turned and the almost certain tripling of least of his wage and the chance ( as a young rich man ) to live somewhere like London or Manchester…
If it were to transpire we just have to hope Ghisolfi has similar bargain priced gems in his little black book
 
I’d back Ghisolfi and his staff to find a replacement for Sadiki should the club receive an acceptable offer for him this summer.

Let’s face it how many of our fans had heard of him before we signed him? (I’m not a regular follower of Belgian football so I’m quite happy to admit I’d never heard of him before it was announced he’d signed for us).

Ghisolfi and his staff will no doubt have a few options in mind should we sell Sadiki. It’s the way we operate as a club, they’ve plenty of credit in the bank this far and I’d be confident they could replace anyone (maybe not Xhaka) in the current squad.

If you could bring in 100+ whilst only losing 2 max before even spending any of our own money you’d fancy our chances of recuruitment building a stronger squad. Could easily see another 150+ being spent

Diallo plays right FB for United doesn’t he? We’d have to play him right wing because he doesn’t get in the team ahead of Nordi.

Yeah especially with the ages of some of these players. Sadiki is what? 20? He’d benefit more from another year or two playing every week here than warming the bench at a dysfunctional club like Chelsea.

TBF they can talk to his agent all they like, nothing against the rules talking to players agents any time you like. That’s what agents are for. They can make unofficial bids for players any time they like also, it’s just the deal which has to be done inside the window.

There's absolutely going to be one big sale this summer like.

Roefs most likely IMO but Sadiki a close second.

I don't think we'll sell two big ones, but one is almost guaranteed.
